All of us carry out risk assessment and management in our everyday lives (whether its driving a car or crossing the road). But how often do we actually document risks, their potential impact and how to mitigate them? As with all complex processes, clinical trials are fraught with risks. Defining these risks and taking steps to either avoid them or minimise the impact should be a critical part of the project planning activity.

The aim of this session is to discuss the risks associated with the clinical data management process and create a practical framework that delegates can take away and adapt for day-to-day use.
