“Pain is what the patient says it is”. This seminar provides an overview of the patho-physiology of pain and how it is managed.
Who should attend?
The seminar is aimed at Project Managers, Clinical Leads, Research Associates, and Data Managers who are responsible for the management and delivery of clinical trials, who would appreciate a broad view of the neurological pathways of pain, pain control and the effects pain has on the patient and society

By the end of this seminar you will:
• Have gained a broad understanding of pain and pain pathways

• Understand the impact pain has on patients activity of daily living
• Appreciate the impact pain has on society
Course format
This is a webinar seminar of 1½ hours duration. Participation is actively encouraged and questions welcomed.

Facilitator
Jane Depledge has worked for over 25 years in the health service in a variety of roles such as Clinical Research Nurse working directly with cancer patients. This allows Jane to use real life anecdotes to convey the patient’s experience of the disease and treatments.
