Trainer biography: Adam Baumgart

Adam has more than 20 years’ experience in Clinical Research. His first 6 years were in pharma companies, followed by time in several major CROs and an EDC vendor. He is experienced in clinical data management, clinical monitoring and project management. Adam is currently Senior Director, CDM at Covance.

Adam has been a trainer on the ACDM project management course for over 8 years. This has proved to be one of the most consistently popular classes run by the ACDM. Whilst at Kendle, Adam also helped develop the first ICH accredited in–house Project Management training course.

His current areas of responsibility include the European Data Management team for Covance, business development and strategic account management. Adam has a special interest in EDC and how this affects the project management of clinical studies.
