The general purpose of the Technical meetings committee is to run two meetings in any one calendar year on topics related to the interface of technology and clinical research.

Aims:

• To run meetings on topics, which are, considered new and/or novel and which have appeal to both technical and clinical staff. Our desired outcome is that attendees of our meetings leave with more knowledge than they arrived with.

Our Strategy:

• We decide upon the topics of the Technical Meetings, drawing on feedback and suggestions from attendees at previous meetings to ensure that we select areas of interest to ACDM members. Such topics may appeal to a wide cross-section of members or to a more specialised section of the membership.

Our small committee has been extremely effective in past years, arranging joint meetings with ICR, PSI and PCMG on a wide variety of themes. However, due to work commitments, we are now extremely stretched and would welcome new members to ensure that we can continue to arrange such valuable meetings going forward.
