Provide a brief summary of your life / education etc to date:
Welsh born and bred, educated in Llangynwyd (bet you can't pronounce that). University of Reading BSc in Microbiology, worked initially for HMV after graduating and then for Porton Down in Salisbury before going into DM by accident. Worked for Parexel, Covance, Omnicare and Kendle on the CRO side and Napp, AZ, Pfizer and Eisai. Been in the industry for about 15 years all told.
If you were on a desert island, what three things would you take with you and why?
Bottomless bottle of red wine, IPOD and solar panels to charge it... music being one of my main interests and who could refuse a bottomless bottle of red wine.
What has been your greatest achievement to date?
Completing the Monopoly Pub Crawl (in order) and reaching Head of DM at Eisai.
What word or phrase do you most over use?
Depends on my mood.
If you were not in the job you are in, what would you do?
Probably be in media entertainment or in a band.
If you could be remembered for something, what would it be?
Don't think anyone would forget me once they met me!
What lesson has life taught you so far?
Only get one shot at it so live as much as possible.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
See desert island not sure who would be there with me though, forgot about that.
What is your greatest fear?
Spiders and heights despite the fact that I used to keep tarantulas and have done a bungy jump and parachuting.
What makes you happy?
A day out at a theme park.
What makes you depressed?
It starts pouring with rain on my day out at the theme park.
What do you do to relax / what are your hobbies?
Music, film and memorabilia, have huge film and music collection.. I used to work at HMV so got loads of freebies and have two genuine light sabers from Star Wars.
If you had a dinner party, and could invite 6 famous people, who would you invite and why?
Eddie Izzard – good comic
Angelina Jolie – looks good at any table
Jonathan Ross – good conversation
Jamie Oliver – he can cook
Al Murray – pub landlord – can bring the beer and the wine for the ladies
Shane Williams – rugby player – that'll confuse the table
